Many people find themselves visiting a chiropractic office for the first time because of a “stiff neck” (pain and a reduced range of motion of the neck and supporting spinal muscles), and usually attribute this to “sleeping funny.” However, the stresses of daily life, working in an environment that creates poor posture (such as computer work or child rearing), a fall or traumatic injury can also cause more immediate pain.
